About Rachael DeLuca
Licensed Acupuncturist (NCCAOM) Functional Medicine Doctor
Rachael DeLuca completed her 4-year medical training in Classical Chinese Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, earning a Master’s of Science. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist and a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine recognized by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is also a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner.
Hygeia Medicine started from her passion treating patients with Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs. After 13 years of practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) she was inspired to dive deeper into more complex health issues with the help of lab testing. She felt compelled to find the resources her patients needed to completely resolve their issues. Functional Medicine testing will find the root cause of any imbalance in the body through specific lab testing and research based treatments.
Rachael has extensively studied Hatha yoga, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and Eastern and Western herbalism. She has her 200 hour yoga certification and continues to cultivate her meditation practice. She is a lifelong scholar and continues to deepen her knowledge in longevity and preventative medicine. She is passionate about art, music, and spirituality.
